Shaitan was Princess Teegra's pet panther. Shaitan obviously had a close relationship to the princess. While Teegra was being educated by her tutor, Shaitan was the first one to sense the sub-humans climbing the palace walls and began to snarl protectively. Before he could try to protect his mistress, a sharp blade, thrown by the invading sub-humans, flew through the balcony doorway, which then struck and killed Shaitan, ending his life. He was eventually avenged by Teegra, who later threw a dagger at Sergeant Quartermaine while battling the sub-humans with Larn and Darkwolf.
